DETROIT (4-10-26) – Detroit Mercy women's basketball Head Coach Kiefer Haffey announced the signing of transfer Marie Outlay, who comes to the Titans from Roosevelt University (Chicago, Ill.).

"We're extremely excited about the addition of Marie and her family to our Detroit Mercy Women's Basketball program," said Haffey. "From the first phone call and throughout the duration of her recruitment, it was obvious that Marie and her parents were the exact caliber of people and players we're looking for as we build the future of this program."

"When the off-season started, our staff locked in on finding long, competitive, high-motor, and high-character young women to join our program," added Haffey. "It's safe to say we've hit a home run with Marie, who comes from arguably the best Division II league in the country as an all-conference player and the league's Defensive Player of the Year. We're so excited about how she can help elevate our team going into next season."
