The Titans lead the all-time series against Cleveland State 14-7-1. Shepherd With the Save
Sophomore

Overtime Blues
Overtime has not been kind to Detroit this season. The Titans hold a record of 1-5-1 when extra time is added to the clock. The year started off promising as Detroit knocked off a ranked Michigan State team 1-0 in overtime in the first game of the season. The Titans also tied Milwaukee 2-2 at Titan Field on Oct. 8.
The other five games were the turning point to the 2011 season. The Buffalo Bulls came away victorious in a double overtime game in the home opener 1-0. The Horizon League home opener was more of the same as Wright State came up with a 2-1 win in overtime.
Detroit had the top-seed on the ropes when they traveled to Valparaiso, but the Crusaders ended the night with a 3-2 overtime win. The Titans were shutout in an overtime loss to Loyola in mid October, and the most recent tough loss to land on Detroit was a double overtime game against IPFW as the Mastodons earned a 2-1 victory in the 108
th minute of action.
