Adam Bedell put Detroit on the scoreboard in the closing minutes of the second half. Bedell came up with his first goal of the season off a direct free kick. The sophomore now has five points on the year.

Detroit needs to get healthy as many starters were inactive in the game against Bowling Green. Ya Ya Toure, Nate Robinson, Jeremy Stoychoff, Mike Chiandussi, and Kevin Pinkos were all forced to watch on the sideline while their injuries heal.

Martin Robertson got his first start of the year as the UDM goalkeeper, and Jesus Ginez made his first career start against the Falcons.

Robertson made three saves in the first half, and matched that effort in the second ending the day with six total.

The Titans will host Wright State this weekend in the Horizon League home opener. The game will be played on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 1:00 p.m.
