ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (10/19/2012) -- The UDM women's cross country team added a couple of extra races to the schedule and one of those went off today in the rain as the Titans took on the Oakland Golden Grizzlies in a 3k duel on the OU Cross Country Course.

Detroit posted 40 points on the evening, while Oakland came away with 21 and the win.

Junior Louisa Coppola claimed second in the race as she clocked a 10:52, just behind Oakland's Brittni Hutton's 10:51.

Senior Katrina Oberski was fifth in 11:09, while senior Sarah Martinez crossed the finish line in 11:21 for 11th.

The duel was added to help the Titans prepare for the Horizon League Championship, set for next Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisc.
