LAST TIME OUT
Detroit (13-8, 5-3 HL) captured its third road win of the season on Saturday with a 75-63 topping of Loyola at Gentile Arena. All five starters scored in double figures for Detroit.

Junior guard Ray McCallum and sophomore Juwan Howard, Jr. led Detroit with 17 points apiece, while Nick Minnerath added 14. Jason Calliste pitched in 12 points, while Doug Anderson added 11. Minnerath also led the team with seven rebounds, while McCallum grabbed six.

UDM was down by three at the half, 27-24, but outscored the Ramblers by 15, 51-36, in the second stanza thanks to some sizzling shooting that saw the Titans connect on 19-of-25 shots to shoot 76 percent.

The Titans ended the game shooting 50 percent from the field (28-56) and forced 17 Loyola turnovers, coming away with nine steals.

SERIES WITH WRIGHT STATE
This will be the 45th meeting between Detroit and Wright State, with the Titans owning a 23-21 lead. The Raiders won the first game this season 64-62 at Calihan Hall. The Titans swept the season series last year, including a 71-55 win at the Nutter Center.

ABOUT THE RAIDERS
The Wright State (14-7, 5-3 HL) could not overcome a 12-point halftime deficit as the Raiders fell to UIC 55-49 Saturday night at WSU's Nutter Center.

JT Yoho put the Raiders up 8-4 with a three at the 14:33 mark of the first half, but the Flames dominated the next nine minutes, going on a 20-2 run in building a 14-point lead.  A Jerran Young jumper and two AJ Pacher foul shots cut the deficit to 10, but WSU went scoreless the final 4:26 as an Anthony Kelley basket made it 26-14 at the break.

The Flames shot 41 percent overall and were 20-of-26 from the foul line, 18-of-24 in the second half, while Wright State shot 33 percent for the game, but was just 2-of-19 from downtown. The Raiders finished 11-of-13 at the charity stripe.

THE TITAN FIVE
Detroit boasts one of the most balanced attacks in the nation with all five starters averaging double figures. Junior guard Ray McCallum, leads the team in scoring with 18.1 ppg, while classmate Jason Calliste is averaging 13.9 ppg. Seniors Nick Minnerath (13.2 ppg) and Doug Anderson (11.7 ppg), along with sophomore Juwan Howard, Jr. (10.1 ppg) fill out the starting five. Detroit's starters are responsible for 85.4 percent of the Titans scoring, while all five rank among the top-20 in the Horizon League.

CLOSING IN ON 1,000
Detroit junior guard Jason Calliste is closing in on becoming the 38th player Titan history to reach the 1,000-point plateau in his career. Calliste enters Wednesday's game with 924 career points and is averaging 13.9 ppg, which ranks seventh in the Horizon League.

McCALLUM NAMED COUSY AWARD FINALIST
Detroit junior guard Ray McCallum was named a finalist for the 2013 Bob Cousy Collegiate Point Guard of the Year Award. This marks the second straight year that McCallum has been named to the final 20 of the Bob Cousy Award.

The annual honor, named for Hall of Famer and former Boston Celtic Bob Cousy, recognizes the top point guards in men's college basketball. Over 80 candidates have been nominated for the 2013 Bob Cousy Award. McCallum currently leads the Horizon League two categories this season scoring (18.3 ppg) and steals (1.7 spg.) and is third in assists with 4.7 apg.

CLIMBING THE CHARTS
