MILWAUKEE, Wis. (2/7/13) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team won its fourth-straight game, third on the road, Thursday night with an 82-74 topping of Milwaukee at the Klotsche Center. The three straight wins on the road matches the longest since the 2012 Horizon League Championship. It is also the longest for the Titans during the regular season since 2009-10.

Jason Calliste led Detroit (16-8, 8-3 HL) with 22 points, including five three-pointers, while senior forward
Nick Minnerath added 18 points and eight rebounds. Junior guard

Doug Anderson scored 16 points apiece, respectively, while
Evan Bruinsma grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds to go along with four points.
UDM led at the half, 36-33, before outscoring the Panthers, 46-41, in the second stanza, to win its third–straight road game.
With the score tied 46-46, Ryan Haggerty hit a three-pointer to put the Panthers on top 49-46 with 13:14 remaining. Detroit would answer back with a jumper by Minnerath followed by a fast break dunk from McCallum to take a 50-49 lead as the Titans never trailed again. Milwaukee (5-19, 1-9 HL) would trim the lead to one, 73-72 with 1:29 left, before the Titans closed the game with a 9-2 run.
Detroit opened the game with a 20-4 run, which included three-straight dunks from Anderson, before the Panthers answered back with a 29-13 run to tie the game 33-33 with 1:55 remaining. Calliste would end the half with a three-pointer to give the Titans a 36-33 lead as both teams entered their locker rooms. Anderson led all scorers with 12 points in the first half on 6-of-6 shooting, while Minnerath had eight points and six rebounds.
The Titans ended the game shooting 52.5 percent (31-59) from the field, including 81.3 percent (13-16) from the charity stripe, while Milwaukee shot 44.3 percent (27-61) overall, including 41.7 percent from downtown (10-24).
James Haarsma had a game-high 26 points to lead Milwaukee, while Paris Gulley added 11 and Demetrius Harris pitched in 10.
Detroit will conclude its Wisconsin swing with a visit to Green Bay on Saturday, Feb. 9. The game is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. ET at the Resch Center and will be the Horizon League Network Game of the Week. The game will also be televised live on Xfinity Sports Channel 900.
