Last Week
Detroit went 0-2 in a pair of home games last week falling to Louisville of the BIG EAST on Wednesday and then narrowly missing out on a win with a 14-13 loss to Campbell University of the Big South on Saturday.

Titans Capture Yet Another Weekly Conference Honor
Junior attack Erin Campbell was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Week on Monday for the first time in her career. She totaled seven points in the two games with a goal against Louisville and then she tied a career-high with three goals and three assists for six total points against the Camels on Saturday. She also corralled two ground balls in each game and took a team-high eight shots against Campbell University. It was the fifth straight time a Titan has been honored this year with a weekly conference award but it does end a streak that saw Detroit win the Defensive Player of the Week award the last four weeks.

Titans Have the Experience
Coastal Carolina will be the fourth team and Winthrop will be the fifth team that Detroit has faced that is in the first year of its women's lacrosse program. Delaware State, Marquette, and Campbell were also first year programs with the Titans posting a 1-2 record against new programs. The two UDM losses against Marquette (11-10) and Campbell (14-13) came each by one goal.
