Haleigh Ristovski led all players with a career-high 20 points and 12 rebounds as the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team earned an 76-47 victory over visiting Madonna University at Calihan Hall on Monday.
It was the second-straight double-double effort for Ristovski as she also handed out a career-best six assists.

Rosanna Reynolds, who was named Horizon League Player of the Week on Monday, added 12 points on four triples with a season-high five assists, while freshman guard
Nicole Urbanick scored a career-high 12 points off the bench. Freshman
Darianne Seward and
Ellisha Crosby tallied 10 points apiece for the Titans, with Seward tallying four rebounds, three steals and two assists and Crosby pulling down five rebounds.
It was back and forth early on and the game was tied at 17-17 when Detroit (3-4) used a 23-5 run over a seven-minute period in the first half to open a 40-22 advantage with 3:03 left in the opening stanza. Urbanick started that spurt with back-to-back 3-pointers and then Reynolds nailed one of her own before Seward came up with two-straight steals for layups to give UDM a 30-22 lead.
A couple of more three's from Reynolds ensued and then Crosby and freshman
Brianne Cohen had baskets for the 40-22 advantage and the Titans eventually took a 45-28 tally at the break over the Crusaders.
The Titans would push their lead to as many as 27 with 13:13 left in the game as junior
DaVonna Bradford had a basket. Detroit would never let the margin slip under 20 the rest of the way before winning by a 29-points.
The Titans shot 40.6 percent from the floor, while sinking 10 triples. Detroit also had the edge in rebounding, 49-29, including grabbing 18 offensive boards. UDM also helped limit the Crusaders (6-3) to just a 29.4 percent shooting percentage, the third time this year it has held an opponent under 30 percent.
Cohen added a season-high seven points and eight rebounds for the Titans, while junior
Lariah Stevens had three points, four boards and two assists. Michele Hayes led Madonna with 17 points.
The Titans next play in the Glass City Classic on Saturday and Sunday in Toledo, Ohio. Detroit opens the tournament against Southeast Missouri State at Noon Saturday.
Game Notes:Detroit is now 3-1 all-time against Madonna… Detroit tied its season high with 10 steals and 20 forced turnovers… The last time a Titan had a triple-double was on Feb. 5, 2000, when Carrie Banks netted 11 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists against Cleveland State… Detroit had five players in double figures scoring for the second time this year (Madonna)… Reynolds now has 11 treys in her last two games and 22 on the season, three away from her career high set as a true freshman in 2011-12...
