Game Notes at Cleveland State
DETROIT (2/14/2014) -- There is no time to dwell on the past as the Titans will look to move on following their rivalry week game by getting on track at Cleveland State on Saturday, Feb. 15. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m., at the Wolstein Center.
Titan fans can follow every UDM game this season through the women's basketball
GAMEDAY CENTRAL page located on the Titans Athletic Website that will keep fans one click away from all the action. This page will feature links for live stats (audio and video when applicable) as well as links for all the latest info while also making it easy to find the Titans on social media and to purchase photos and game tickets. The Game Day Central page also carries all the information on each opponent from who is leading the all-time series to who won the last game.
Detroit took a tough loss at Oakland on Thursday to fall to 4-19 on the season and 1-9 in Horizon League play. UDM can still turn its season around and move up the standings to stay out of the opening round game or even host the 8-9 match-up when the conference championship begins.
The offense was alive against the Golden Grizzlies as four Titans scored in double figures for the second-straight game, led by a season-high 21 points from freshman
Megan Galloway. Sophomore
Tayelor McCalister was in double digits for the fifth-straight game tallying 19 points, while senior
Senee Shearer hit a couple of 3-pointers to inch closer to the school record as she is just 10 away from the 217 total.
After the game, the red, white and blue will have a week off as the Titans get ready to battle Wright State next Saturday, Feb. 22. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m., following National Girls and Women in Sports Day. For more information on how girls ages 6-13 can sign up for that event,

DETROIT VS. CLEVELAND STATE
The Titans have dominated the all-time series by the tune of a 35-15 advantage, which includes winning four of the last six. The series began back in 1981 with UDM winning 14 of the first 15 games.
Detroit has had a little tougher time against the Vikings in Cleveland as the Titans are 13-10 on the road in the series, including 1-5 in their last six trips.
ABOUT THE VIKINGS
Cleveland State was on a three-game losing streak, but the Vikings have righted the ship with four-straight wins and enter the game at 12-11, 7-3 in Horizon League play and good for second place. CSU is coming off an 82-74 win over Valpo on Thursday in a game that saw the Vikings hit 13 3-pointers.

AERIAL ASSULT

In her career, Shearer has attempted 986 shots and 629 of them have been from behind the arc. That means 63.7% of her career looks have been from downtown.
Her 231 three-point attempts on the season are third in the country behind Charleston Southern's Erin Bratcher (239) and Oregon's Katelyn Looper's (234).
Shearer also has made 207 career 3-pointers, second in school history and just 10 away from school record-holder Michelle James (1998-02) who has 217.

FEELING PINK
If you are coming to historic Calihan Hall this month to see the red, white and blue, then you will see a different color as the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team will sport pink uniforms for its home games during the month of February.
The team also took part of the Play 4Kay initiative on Saturday, Feb. 8, in its home game against Milwaukee.
