Titans Win First Game of #VancouverTrip 119-74 Over Quest

SQUAMISH, B.C. (8/15/14)
- The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team won its first game of its #VancouverTrip with a 119-74 win over Quest University on Thursday at the Recplex.
 
Six Titans scored in double figures led by freshman Paris Bass who recorded a double-double with a game-high 19 points and 11 rebounds. Senior forward Juwan Howard Jr. added 16 points, while his classmate Patrick Onwenu pitched in 15 points to go along with nine rebounds.
 
Junior guard Carlton Brundidge also scored 15 points, while Anton Wilson added 14 and the newest member of the Titan family Brandan Kearney finished with 12. 
 
The Titans will play three more games against Canadian college teams, including the University of British Columbia tonight (Friday, August 15) at War Memorial Gym. The game is scheduled to start at 10 p.m. ET and will have Live Stats available on the UBC Athletic website.
