DETROIT (1/4/2016) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball program has announced that sophomore Aaron Foster-Smith will not return to the team. 

Due to FERPA laws, the University will have no further comment on the student-athlete and considers the matter closed.
 
"At Detroit Mercy, it is our goal to develop our athletes as 'students first'. It is within that framework of the student-athlete's welfare, our mission and vision, that we are confident in this approach and it will help us continue to build and sustain our culture. Aaron is an outstanding young man from a great, hard working family and we wish him well in his future," said head coach Bacari Alexander '99. 
 
The Titans will return to action this week playing at UIC on Friday, Jan. 6, and at Valparaiso on Sunday, Jan. 8.
