DETROIT (11/1/2017) -- The final regular season day of the Horizon League men's soccer season is a big one for the University of Detroit Mercy men's soccer team with the Titans visiting Cleveland State for a 7 p.m. match from Krenzler Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Titans clinch a Horizon League Championship berth and the No. 6 seed with a victory over the Vikings and a Northern Kentucky tie or loss to Green Bay at home. Detroit Mercy, tied with Oakland with 10 points, holds the tiebreaker over the Golden Grizzlies by virtue of its win against UIC earlier in the season.

Horizon League Standings
Detroit Mercy is tied for seventh place with Oakland with 10 points, just one point behind Northern Kentucky (11 points). The top five schools in the league have all clinched spots in the championship with Green Bay (19 points) securing a share of the Horizon League regular season title. UIC is currently in second place (16 points), while Milwaukee and Wright State are tied for third with 15 points. CSU is in fifth with 14 points. NKU, Oakland and the Titans are all vying for the final spot in the tournament.
Scouting Cleveland State
The Vikings have secured a spot in the Horizon League Championship by virtue of their 14 points. Cleveland State is 4-2-2 overall in league play, earning a 2-1 victory over Wright State at home in its most recent outing last weekend.
Noah Pio leads the squad with 12 points on four goals and four assists, while Vlad Jandric adds a team-high-tying four goals. Sebastian Kalk has started 11 matches in net and has two shutouts and a 66.7 save percentage. Pavle Majerle has started the other five contests and sports a 77.4 save percentage and 1.29 goals against average.

Senior Tyler
Moorman is tied for No. 1 in the Horizon League in total goals (9), while ranking second in goals per game (0.56) and points per game (1.25). He is tied-for-27th nationally with his nine goals. Senior GK Robbie

Moorman is moving up the career goals list and has 19 career markers, which is
tied-for-14th all-time with Aaron Byrd and Michael Giese.
Moorman has five career game-winning goals, which is just outside the top 10 in the record books.
Moorman has 41 career points on 19 goals and three assists.
Robbie
Beckwell became the
11th goalkeeper in Titan history to record 100 career saves earlier in the season. He made his
100th stop in the second half of a 2-0 victory over UIC. He ranks in 10th place on the career saves list with 129. He is nine saves behind former Titan keeper Jason Wood for ninth place.
Spiro
Pliakos, a three-time All-League player, is moving up the Titan record books in points, moving into a
tie-for-12th place with Richard
Gerspacher at 53 points. He is three points back of Aaron Byrd (56 points) for
11th place in career points.
Pliakos has 18 goals and 17 assists in his Titan career.
