DETROIT (1/27/18) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's track & field team finished up their third meet of the season in nearby Allendale, Mich. on Saturday evening. The meet saw numerous personal records broken, and even a Titan record broken.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE MEET:
Senior Ben
Kendell, who raced in the Jet's Pizza Invitational on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University, claimed fourth place in the 3000-meter with a time of 8:19.86, a time fast enough to break his own Titan record. Sophomore
James McCann claimed first place in the 5000m, which also happened to be a new PR for him, by just over one second.
Darrius Scott also claimed a top-five spot for the Titans in the 200-meter dash.
