How Did You Find Your Way To Detroit Mercy?
"My travel coach is really good friends with coach Davis. I am close with my coach and I trust him a lot and he trusts coach Davis so I took his advice and decided to come play for him and it has been a wonderful decision for me. This is a place that I can become a better basketball player and a place that we can become a great team."
Who Did You Pick Detroit Mercy Over?
"I honestly didn't have any offers until my coach told me about playing for coach Davis. He told me he was an excellent coach and everywhere he has been, he has won. Players get better playing for him and this would be a great place for me."
What Did You Know About Detroit Mercy?
"I am not going to lie, I didn't really know anything about the school until my coach told me about the opportunity. I looked at the record the last couple of years, but since my travel coach said that coach Davis is a winning coach and we could turn this around, it made the fit even better."
How Do You Like The City Of Detroit?
"I didn't know how much fun the city is. Downtown is great. When I first thought of Detroit, I didn't think much of it and didn't know what it was like, but there are so many things to do and you have a great sports scene with all the teams downtown. You really can't be bored here."
What Is The Biggest Difference Between High School & College Basketball?
"Everyone is good and everyone knows how to play here. In high school and travel, you know that some players are just not that good, some guys, you know you are better than. In practice here, everyone is good, everyone is strong and you just don't have those weak players. There is no weak link here, everyone can play, it's just about how hard and the effort you give."
What Is Your Biggest Strength & Your Biggest Weakness
"I feel I am a good shooter and I can defend and rebound. I still have to get better in all those areas, but I would say that is my strength. My weakness is that I need to handle the ball better and just keep working hard."
Has It Been Hard Adjusting To All The New Players & Coaching Staff As Well As School?
"I am an outgoing person so just getting to know everybody, the coaching staff, teammates, people at school, that has been easy for me. I have had so much fun so far with school and these guys and I am looking forward to my four years here."
What Is Your Major & What Do You Want To Do With It?
"I am a business major and I would like to get into sports management or a sports agent. I just really want to stay involved in the game of basketball as much as I can." Â
