How Did You Find Your Way To Detroit Mercy?
"My travel ball coach is friends with coach Davis and he advised me to come here. He said he was a good coach and would be a good fit for me."
Have You Ever Been To Michigan Before Getting Here?
"No, this was my first time coming out to Michigan. You can see the people love basketball and everybody's friendly around here. I love it."
What Have You Been Able To Learn About Coach Davis?
"I learned that patience is very key, and just giving your full effort every day, because you never know what could happen."
There's A Lot Of New Guys In A New Place. What's The Transition Been Like For You Guys?
"It's been easy, because we're all really close to each other already and we're really united. The transition hasn't really been difficult or anything."
What Is Your Biggest Strength And Weakness?
"I'd say my biggest strengths are playing defense, rebounding the ball and just being active. Doing all the little for the team. My biggest weakness are just knowing what spots on the floor to be at, at the right time, and shooting at a higher percentage than I am right now."
What Are Some Things You Like To Do Outside Of Basketball?
"Play soccer, play video games and chill with my friends."
Your Dad Played Soccer Professionally. How Many Years Did You Play The Sport And What Got You Into It?
"I played soccer until the 10th grade. My dad was obviously my inspiration for playing, and then after 10th grade, I just started playing basketball."
What Did You Like About Playing Soccer And How Has It Helped You In Basketball?
"I liked the speed, how you're always running, always moving. It's a different skill that's brought to the game. My footwork is better than most bigs I feel. That's what really helped me with my speed."
Who's The Best Player You've Played Against, At Any Level?
"I played against Shaq, one-on-one, when I was a kid at a Boys and Girls club. I lost, but I was a little, little kid. I didn't really know about basketball, so I didn't even know who he was really. Later, I found out that it was Shaq and that was pretty cool."
Are You Into Music?
"I just like listening. I used to play the saxophone, the alto sax. I started in middle school. My mom used to play so she pushed me to play a little bit. It just gave me another skill."
