ROCK HILL, S.C. (3/24/18) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team kicked off their 2018 outdoor season with the Winthrop Invitational down in Rock Hill, S.C.

Sophomore James McCann claimed first place in the 5000m while also setting a new personal record by almost 13 seconds. Sophomore Adam Fraeyman claimed second place in the 5000m steeplechase and Charlie Felton also grabbed a top 10 finish in the 5000m.
