DETROIT, MI. (4/22/18) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team concluded action from Terre Haute, Ind. and the Pacesetter Invitational on Saturday evening.
The Titans claimed fourth place with 29 points, going against stiff competition in Butler, Indiana State, Eastern Illinois, Xavier and Valparaiso.
Jacob Spiaser set the outdoor pole vault record with 4.10m,
Adam Fraeyman climbed to #3 all-time Titan in the 3,000m steeplechase, passing Director of Track and Field and Cross Country
Guy Murray '89 in the process, and
Alan Nava set a new personal record in the 800m.
Seven Titans claimed top ten spots in the Pacesetter Invitational, including senior
Ben Kendell who claimed second place in the 1500m, the highest finish for the red, white and blue on the weekend.
