DETROIT MERCY 2 - IUPUI 9
IUPUI jumped out to an early lead, posting four runs in the bottom half of the first to go up 4-0.
In the top of the second, the Titans answered back courtesy of a double from Brandon that drove in Keyes and Vitale after back-to-back walks.
However, the Jaguars were upset at yesterday's result and their bats showed it. They tacked on another three runs in the bottom half of the second, going up 7-2.
They added two more in the bottom of the fifth to make the score 9-2, which would remain the final score after seven.
Ashley Mauser was on the mound for the red, white and blue and took the loss after going two innings, scattering six hits, seven runs (three earned), two walks and one strikeout. With that loss, her record is now 7-7 in Horizon League play.
With that result, the Titans are 8-8 in the Horizon League and currently sit in fourth place in the conference.
