DETROIT (8/11/2018) -- It was a day of competition, but more importantly, a time to come together and remember their days in the red, white and blue as the University of Detroit Mercy women's soccer team held its annual alumni game today.
The Titans of today and yesterday played two 45-minute halves with a running clock.
The alumni came hungry for a win, but the 2018 Titans were able to put a pair of scores up in the first half and added another in the second. The Detroit Mercy veterans were able to get on the board with less than 10 minutes to go as current graduate assistant coach
Jennifer Borawski '16 was able to beat her defender and find the back of the net.
The Titans will now focus on getting ready for the season opener, set for next Friday, Aug. 17, at Western Michigan.
