INDIANAPOLIS (9/5/2018) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team will begin the Horizon League season on the road and end it at home with a five-game homestand and road swing in the middle as the conference schedule was formally announced on Wednesday.
Detroit Mercy will start the conference campaign with a trip to Ohio to battle Youngstown State and Cleveland State on Dec. 28 and 30, respectively.
After that, the Titans will have a five-game homestand with defending champion Wright State (Jan. 3), NKU (Jan. 5), Green Bay (Jan. 10), Milwaukee (Jan. 12) and Metro Series-rival Oakland (Jan. 19) at historic Calihan Hall.
In February, Detroit Mercy will play five straight on the road and that will end with the Metro Series battle at Oakland on Feb. 23.
The last homestand of the year before the Horizon League Championship will have IUPUI (Feb. 28) and UIC (Mar. 2) visiting the Motor City.
