On the day,
Ellie Boteler had four hits and an RBI,
Jordan Manno had two hits and two RBI and
McKenna Tanguay had two hits and an RBI

The first game of the day was a back-and-forth offensive bout right from the get go.
In the bottom of the first inning,
Courtney Gilbert singled up the middle, followed by a double to left center field from Boteler, bringing Gilbert all the way around and giving the Titans a 1-0 lead.
The Jackrabbits put four runs on the board in the top of the second inning, and some defensive errors from the Titans allowed them to do so.
In the bottom of the third inning,
Sydney Pollock reached first on a fielding error from the pitcher and then stole second, putting herself into scoring position.
Manno singled up the middle, driving Pollock home and halving the Titans deficit, 4-2.
South Dakota State put another run on the board in the top of the fourth, making the score 5-2 in favor of the Jackrabbits.
In the bottom of the fourth,
Alyssa Lang doubled down the right field line, followed by a single from
Emily Wagenbrenner, which saw her advance to second on the throw.
Jen Lorenz then drove a single up the middle, bringing Lang home, and advanced to second on the throw to the plate.
With the score now 5-3, Tanguay singled into left field, driving in Wagenbrenner and narrowing the gap to only one, 5-4.
The Jackrabbits tacked one on the board in the top of the sixth and four more in the top of the seventh, widening their lead to 10-4.
In the bottom of the seventh, the Titans tried to piece together a rally, and were successful in doing so, but came up just short.
Tanguay led off the inning with a hard hit double into right center field and then advanced to third base on a passed ball. Pollock drew a walk and stole second, putting two runners in scoring position with no outs.
Gilbert grounded out to third base, driving home Tanguay, advancing to Pollock to third and making the score 10-5.
Manno then doubled into right center, bringing Pollock home, followed by a sacrifice fly from
Kori Keyes after Manno advanced on a fielder's choice, bringing the score to 10-7.
However, the Titans rally fell short, and they dropped the game by a final score of 10-7.
Mauser tossed four innings, scattering seven hits, five runs (three earned), four walks and eight strikeouts in her fourth loss of the season.
Liz Murphy tossed 3.2 innings, scattering six hits and five earned runs in the loss.
DETROIT MERCY 0 - WESTERN MICHIGAN 5
The Titans took on in-state foe Western Michigan in game two on the day.
The Broncos jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, putting a run on the board in the top of the first.
Western Michigan added two more runs in the top of the second, courtesy of a triple off the right field fence.
Back-to-back home runs from the Broncos in the top of the fourth saw them take a 5-0 advantage.
The Titans tried to answer back courtesy of a single up the middle from Boteler, but they were unable to piece anything together in the bottom half of the inning.
Over the next few innings, the Titans tried to piece together a come back.
Leena Mortensen drew a walk and Keyes singled into right field, but they just could not put the pieces together in order to put some runs on the board.
The Titans dropped the contest by a final score of 5-0.

The Titans now have ten days off before they head to St. Louis, Missouri for the Billiken Spring Tournament, their final tune-up before conference play starts.
