Men's Basketball To Host Three Summer Camps; Team Camp is Full

NOTE: Team Camp is full as of June 6; We will no longer be accepting registrations for the Team Camp on June 21-22.

DETROIT (4/25/2019) --
The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball program has announced the dates of three summer camps in the Shooting & Skills Camp (May 31-June 2), Elite Camp (June 15) and Team Camp (June 21-22). 

All camps will be held on Dick Vitale Court inside historic Calihan Hall and have open enrollment of all ages. 

The Shooting and Skills Camp will be held on May 31-June 2 from 11 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and the cost to attend is $150 per camper. Coach Davis will direct and lead an intense three days of shooting instruction and basketball skills development. The camp will feature hundreds of shots daily with workouts on up to six shooting machines. The camp is limited to the first 50 participants.

The 2019 Elite Camp will take place on Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., and the cost to attend is $50 per camper. The camp is designed to provide superior instruction to and for those student-athletes who want to maximize their potential. 

The camp will include:
  • Elite Level of Instruction
  • Intense Individual Workouts
  • NCAA Rules Education
  • Camp Shirts
The 2019 Team Camp will take place from Friday-Saturday, June 21-22. The cost to attend is $250 per team - which includes 10 Titan t-shirts - and is designed for high school teams of all competitive levels. The team camp is full as of June 6.

The day will start at 8:00 a.m. and each team will be guaranteed three games and a maximum of five with tournament play starting following pod play. 

Each game will have registered officials from Detroit Public & Catholic Leagues and each head coach will receive a Detroit Mercy polo.
