DETROIT (9/22/2019) -- After coming off of a six-game road tour, the University of Detroit Mercy women's soccer team hosted a non-conference game against Toledo, but the red, white and blue could not overcome a second-half push by the rockets falling 4-0 on Sunday.
The Titans (2-6-1) put out great effort during the first half of the game and nearly had a goal early on as a great ball in the 37th minute by junior
Olivia Parra to freshman
Jaslyn Gott just missed the net and the score stood at 0-0 at the break.
After a scoreless first half, the Titans came into the second half looking for the lead and had some decent offensive attempts, but Rockets (3-5-0) scored in the 59th minute and added three more goals soon after to get the win.
Sophomore
