Detroit Mercy and Green Bay have typically played some high-scoring affairs over the years, with both teams averaging more than 85.0 points in the last 10 meetings.
The Titans are coming off a huge 90-84 win at Milwaukee, their first road win of the season, as the team shot over 56.0 percent in the first half and made it count down the stretch hitting free throws as the team was 28-of-31 at the charity stripe.
The last time the Titans swept both games in Wisconsin was in 2004-05, although that year, the games at Milwaukee and Green Bay were not played on the same trip. The last time it happened back-to-back was in 1998-99.
Green Bay is 8-11 on the season and 3-3 in the Horizon League after defeating Oakland, 73-69. The Phoenix lead the league in offense at 81.2 points per game with a pair of players in the top 10 in scoring in Amari Davis (16.5) and JayQuan McCloud (15.1).
Following the game, the Titans will return home to play seven of their next nine in Calihan Hall and a couple of special days in
Earl Cureton's jersey retirement against IUPUI on Jan. 23, Willie Green's and Eli Holman's jersey retirement on Jan. 25 and the #MetroSeries match-up against Oakland on Jan. 31.
