DETROIT (12/4/2020) -- It may not be March Madness but this December is starting to look just as crazy as the non-stop juggling of college basketball schedules benefitted the University of Detroit Mercy as the Titans will now visit Catholic-rival Notre Dame on Sunday, Dec. 6.
Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. and will be televised on the ACC Network (originally slated just for online).Â
It will be the 55th match-up between the two schools in a rivalry that started back in 1912. The Fighting Irish lead the all-time series, 42-12, including 20-4 in South Bend. The two teams hooked up last year in a 110-71 Notre Dame victory that saw
Antoine Davis become the fastest Titan to reach 1,000 career points as he led the squad with 27 that night.Â
The Titans have seen a few changes to their schedule this season already, including the rescheduling of the game at Kentucky to Dec. 15 and the moving up of the home game for Kent State to Dec. 8.Â
Detroit Mercy is currently in East Lansing as the red, white and blue open the season at nationally-ranked Michigan State today in a 5:00 p.m. contest on the Big Ten Network.
