Men's Basketball

@DetroitMBB Welcomes Cleveland State On Saturday On Hero's Day

DETROIT (2/13/2020) -- Looking to split the first weekend of its four-game homestand, the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team will entertain Cleveland State on Saturday at Calihan Hall on Hero's Day. All first responders and military will receive free tickets for themselves and their family to the game.

Game time is set for 1 p.m., on Dick Vitale Court in Calihan Hall and will be broadcast live on ESPN3 and locally on WADL-38 with Jeremy Otto on the call as well as over the air on 910 AM Superstation with Dan Hasty providing the action.

The Titans are looking to end a four-game slide and get back into the middle of the pack in the Horizon League. Detroit Mercy is 4-9 in league play, while Cleveland State is 5-8.

Detroit Mercy is actually just 11 points away from having eight wins in the HL as it had a double-digit lead late in a one-point loss to Wright State and had the ball at the buzzer for a game-winning shot at Youngstown State, a game-tying shot at Green Bay and suffered just a five-point loss at Cleveland State.

Tickets start at just $10 and can be purchased by visiting detroittitans.com/tix
