Men's Lacrosse Hosts Bellarmine In Pontiac On Tuesday

DETROIT (2/17/2020) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team will begin a four-game homestand on Tuesday as the Titans welcome Bellarmine to their indoor home at Ultimate Soccer Arenas in Pontiac.

Game time is set for Noon and will feature live stats but no live broadcast.

The Titans are 1-1 on the year with a season-opening 15-14 thrilling victory at Jacksonville and a 23-9 setback to No. 12 Ohio State.

Through two games, redshirt freshman Kyle Waters leads the offense with six goals and seven points, while junior Brett Erskine has tallied five goals with two helpers.

Senior Sam McClain and junior Paul Manuszak each have a team-high four caused turnovers and senior Alex Jarzembowski has been stellar in faceoffs, winning 50.8 percent.

Bellarmine has already played four games on the season and has won two in a row defeating Hampton (21-5) and fellow MAAC member St. Bonaventure (13-5). That came after a close lose at Marquette (11-10) and a season-opening 16-10 decision at Utah.

Tickets are set at just $5 and can be purchased by clicking here or on site.
