EVANSTON, Ill. The Titans did well in the draw circle and corralled 12 draw controls Friday, with Taylor Cantelon leading the way with five DC. Sophomores Emily Beazley and Elise Harder each added three draw controls for the red, white and blue.

Corraro led the Titans with four shots and four shots on goal, while Harder and McManus each had two shots on goal. As a team, Detroit Mercy finished with nine shots on goal, with Northwestern tallying 45 total shots in the game and 38 shots on goal.

McManus opened the scoring in the second half, taking a pass from freshman Marina Butler and finding the back of the net for her second goal of the night. Corraro scored with seven minutes left in the contest.
