GREEN BAY, Wisc. (10/2/2021) -- It was a low-scoring affair in a Midwestern City battle, but one goal was the difference as the University of Detroit Mercy women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Green Bay on Saturday evening.

The low score came on a penalty kick as Green Bay (4-1-4, 1-1-3 HL) scored off a foul in the box in the 50th minute of action.

The Titans (1-10-1, 0-4-1 HL) totaled three shots in the game with sophomore Katie Sullivan putting the only one on frame in the 72nd minute that was saved. Senior Julie Ann Piechocki had a shot that was high in the 70th minute and freshman Erica Leinweber had a shot that was blocked in the 54th minute.
