DETROIT (5/5/2021) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's lacrosse squad hits the road for its final game of the 2021 season with the Titans heading to Moon Township, Pennsylvania, for a Mid-American Conference battle with Robert Morris. The game is set for a 3 p.m. start from Joe Walton Stadium.
The Titans (2-7, 2-7 MAC) are playing in their sixth game in the past two weeks, as Detroit Mercy opened a furious six-game stretch to end the season on Thursday, April 22. It's also the third game in the past six days for the red, white and blue, which closed the home slate on Monday against Central Michigan.

The Titans dropped their home finale on Monday afternoon, falling to in-state rival Central Michigan, 20-7, from Titan Field. Senior attacker

Taylor Cantelon ranks third in the MAC in draw controls per game (5.89), while
Taryn McManus is fourth just behind her teammate in draw controls per game (4.56). McManus is top-five in many categories and ranks third in caused turnovers per game (1.78), third in assists per game (1.33) and fourth in ground balls per game (2.56) for the Titans.

Harder leads the conference and ranks sixth in the country in free-position percentage (77.8%), converting on 7-of-9 free-position chances. Cantelon is also 24th in the NCAA in draw controls per game (5.89).

Scouting Robert Morris
The Colonials (13-2 overall) have clinched the MAC title for the inaugural season of women's lacrosse in the conference and are 9-0 in MAC play entering the season finale on Thursday. With no conference tournament in this first year of MAC lacrosse, Robert Morris is set to represent the league in the NCAA Tournament.
Senior sisters Mackenzie and Melanie Gandy are tied for the team lead with 61 points each for RMU. Mackenzie Gandy leads the team in goals with 45, while Melanie Gandy has a team-best 36 assists, adding 25 goals. The duo is tied for second in the MAC in points and points per game (4.07). Senior Clio Kerr has added 32 goals for Robert Morris. Sophomore midfielder Jordan Anderson leads all MAC players in draw controls (96) and draw controls per game (6.4). In net, graduate senior GK Katelyn Miller has a league-best 53.2% save percentage.
All-Time Series
The Titans and Colonials are meeting for the seventh time in women's lacrosse and the second time this season. The Titans are 1-5 all-time against Robert Morris. The Titans dropped a 19-5 contest with the Colonials just last week on April 28. Junior midfielder
