DETROIT (9/3/2022) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team has added to its talented roster with the addition of 16 student-athletes for the upcoming season.

"These are great, high-character kids who are hard-working and will fit into our culture," said head coach Chris Kolon '09 (MBA). "We have some kids that will contribute right away and some that will help us build our depth and program as we move into the Atlantic Sun this year."

Joining the Titans are:

Connor Baratta * Midfield * Novi, Mich. * Detroit Catholic Central HS

• A transfer from Rutgers, who saw action in one game last year
• Lettered in football and lacrosse
• Won 81.0 percent of faceoffs as a senior with 106 ground balls, while tallying over 70 percent in 2017 and 2018
• A three-time All-Region and All-League honoree who earned the 2019 MSHLCA Gene Riley Unsung Hero Award 
• Helped Catholic Central to its first state championship in 2018 and was also part of state finalist in 2017 and 2019
• Played club with True Michigan and True National

Aidan Bishop * Attack * Brighton, Mich. * Detroit Catholic Central HS

• Earned three varsity letters in lacrosse
• Named the team's Offensive MVP as a senior
• Tabbed First Team All-State and All-Catholic as a senior as well as All-Region as a sophomore
• Posted 90 goals and 41 assists in his career
• Played club with Omnia 

Dominick DeJulio * Midfield * Arlington Heights, Ill. * Saint Viator HS

• A varsity letter winner in basketball, soccer and lacrosse
• Was tabbed MVP in lacrosse as a freshman
• Played club with True Lacrosse

Evan DeVito * Defense * Clarkston, Mich. * Brother Rice HS

• Earned letters in football and lacrosse
• Selected an All-American and was the team's Defensive Player of the Year as a senior
• Helped his team to a catholic and state championship
• Played club with Omnia

Kaden Dietrich * Midfield * Forest Hills, Mich. * Forest Hills HS

• A four-year varsity letter winner in lacrosse
• A two-time All-Conference selection and was First Team All-State as a senior after collecting 102 ground balls
• Helped his team to a pair of state championship appearances
• Played club with True Lacrosse, Omnia and the San Diego Royals

Nolan Graalman * Attack * Rockford, Mich. * Rockford HS

• Earned letters in football, water polo and lacrosse
• Was the team's MVP and Offensive Player of the Year as a senior after pouring in 57 goals with 45 assists
• Selected Second Team All-State and All-Region as a senior
• A member of the National Honors Society
• Played club with True Michigan, Omnia and the San Diego Royals

Billy Hart * Midfield * Rochester, Mich. * Rochester Adams HS

• Lettered in football, wrestling and lacrosse
• Named Third Team All-State in lacrosse
• Had 97 ground balls, 21 goals and 20 assists in his career
• His oldest brother, Tyler, is a senior goalie for the Titans
• Played club with Omnia 

Sean Henige * Defense * Lake Orion, Mich. * Lake Orion HS

• Lettered in powerlifting, football and lacrosse 
• Selected Second Team All-State and First Team All-Conference as a senior
• Helped his team to three conference championships and two regional titles
• Totaled 13 goals, four assists, 50 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers in his career
• Played club with Omnia

• Lettered in swimming and lacrosse

• A four-year letter winner in lacrosse
• Earned Second Team All-State honors as a senior as he posted 35 goals and six assists
• Helped his team to a state final four appearance in 2019 and 2021
• The younger brother of current junior Titan Kyle Loken

Chase Mahabir * Midfield/Attack * Midland, Mich. * Midland HS

• Lettered in football and lacrosse
• Selected an All-American and First Team All-State as a senior after totaling 77 goals and 34 assists
• A member of the National Honors Society
• Played club with Cherries Lacrosse

Will Marshall * Midfield * Fort Worth, Tex. * Paschal HS

• Lettered in football, track and lacrosse
• Was First Team All-District as a sophomore
• Played club with Texas Mustangs

Lukas Nilsen * Goalie * Easton, MD. * Easton HS

• A four-year letter winner in swimming and lacrosse
• Ended his career with a 71.0-save percentage and a 6.66 goals-against average
• Named the team's Defensive MVP as a senior
• Selected All-Conference as a sophomore and senior as well as Honorable Mention All-State
