INDIANAPOLIS (1/10/2022) -- After leading the Titans to a dominating home victory over Milwaukee, University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball senior
Antoine Davis was named the Horizon League men's basketball Player of the Week.
It is the second time this season and the eighth time in his career that he has been honored as the conference's top player.
Davis torched the Panthers by tying a season-high with 39 points - 23 in the first half - going 13-of-20 from the field, 8-of-13 from three and a perfect 5-of-5 at the line with a career-tying seven rebounds and six assists in the 85-60 victory.
With his eight 3-pointers, Davis now has 373 career triples - the all-time school and HL leader - and is just six away from tying former Indiana and UAB star Robert Vaden for 31st in NCAA history in total 3-pointers.
Davis and the Titans will be back in action on Thursday when the red, white and blue head to Purdue Fort Wayne.
