DETROIT (10/19/2022) -- The University of Detroit Mercy held its annual basketball media day on Tuesday.

Members of the media as well as donors and season ticket holders were on hand to hear from Detroit Mercy President Donald B. Taylor, Ph.D., Director of Athletics Robert C. Vowels, Jr., head women's basketball coach Kate Achter, head men's basketball coach Mike Davis and members of the men's and women's basketball teams. 

The men's basketball team will open the season at home against Rochester on Nov. 8. The women's basketball team will have an exhibition against Davenport on Nov. 2 before opening the year at North Dakota on Nov. 7.
