ALLENDALE (2/12/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team saw several athletes earn personal records during the Grand Valley State Big Meet over the weekend. 

Big Weekend At The Big Meet
Thomas Mueller made his indoor 5000-Meter debut on Friday posting a time of 14:51.89 which was good for 10th all-time in Titans' history. 

In the 3000-Meter, Connor Joyce, John Burke, Nicholas Fringer, and Andrew Pries all set personal records with Joyce leading the Titans with a 9:09.04 time. 

Evan Eding, Derrick Ball Jr., and Aquari Walker all set personal records in the 60-Meter Dash, but Elijah Major led the Titans with a second place finish at 6.98 seconds. 

Isaiah Bonner earned a personal record in the 800-Meter after running a 2:00.41 time, and Burke made his second personal record of the weekend at 2:02.04. 

Like Burke, Eding doubled down on personal records this weekend, setting a new best distance in the Long Jump at 6.56 meters.
