Brandi Washington grabbed a career-high six steals defensively while scoring three points.
To open the game, defense was king as buckets were hard to come by as Murua scored all four points for the Titans (0-21, 0-14 HL) to tie the game by the first media timeout. The Jags (16-5, 13-3 HL) went on a 10-3 run to close out the frame with a 14-7 lead.
After hitting a triple in the first quarter, Fleta Robles continued hot shooting in the second quarter scoring seven points while hitting another 3-pointer to match her previous career-high of 10 points helping the Titans pull within nine points at the half, 29-20.
IUPUI opened the third quarter on a 11-2 run extending the lead to 40-22. Detroit Mercy closed the quarter on a 6-0 run to trail 45-30 entering the fourth quarter.
In the beginning of the fourth quarter, Detroit Mercy pushed their run to 9-1 but could not claw any closer as IUPUI closed out the frame to win their 11th game in a row.
The Titans return home against Milwaukee on Thursday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m.
