ROCHESTER (4/23/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team saw Daniel Lanfear win the High Jump and the 4x100 Relay team claim its third win of the outdoor season as the Titans were at Oakland University for the Elaine Leigh Invitational.  

Norkey won the High Jump while tying a personal record height of 2.05 meters. 

The 4x100 Relay team of Dante Bassham, Elijah Major, Bonanza Cummings, and Aquari Walker won gold for the third time in four meets during the outdoor season. The relay team broke their own school record set earlier this spring as they clocked a 41.05 second time at Oakland this weekend. 

Other Notable Finishes
John Burke set a new personal record in the 5000 Meter with a time of 15:48.67. 

Tate Kwaiser set a new personal record in the 100-Meter Dash at 11.21 seconds.  

Connor Joyce placed third in the 1500-Meter at 4:26.71. 

John Paul Terzano scored third in Javelin Throw at 49.73 meters.
