SAGINAW (1/14/23) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team saw Carvin Coleman and Troy Cranford finish top-five in the 400-Meter at Saginaw Valley State on Friday while Dante Bassham won the 60-Meter at the Michigan Invitational in Ann Arbor on Sunday.

Coleman finished second in the 400-Meter with a personal record time of 51.50 seconds. Cranford earned fourth in the 400-Meter just behind Coleman at 51.89 seconds.   

At the Michigan Invitational, Bassham won the 60-Meter on a time of 6.81 seconds. 

Other Top Finishers at SVSU
Evan Eding tallied second in the Long Jump with a 6.64 meter personal best. 

Zachary Zaborney finished second in the Triple Jump at 12.47 meters.

The men's 4x400-Meter Relay team of Luke Adamczyk, Carvin Coleman, Payton Norkey, and Troy Cranford scored third for the Titans.  

Payton Norkey scored fifth in the 60-Meter Hurdles at 8.62 seconds. 

Michigan Invitational
Elijah Major took silver in the 200-Meter at 22.09 seconds. 

Cody Bartlett and Daniel Lanfear finished seventh and eighth respectively in the High Jump.
