DETROIT (11-15-23) – The Detroit Mercy women's basketball team has added three newcomers in Maya Anderson, Anna Lassan and Addisen Mastriano announced Head Coach
Kate Achter.
"Our goal in this class was to recruit Michigan, specifically the Metro Detroit areas first. Signing both Anna and Maya is huge for us," said Achter. "They will be crowd favorites simply because Titan fans from around the area will recognize their names but they also will be won over quickly by Addisen because she has some old school flare to her being very gritty while bringing a ton of physicality and toughness to the mix."
"This class really embodies our program, who we are as a staff, and our recruiting philosophies," added Achter. "We've stuck to the plan and were able to win a few recruiting battles this program hasn't been involved in for quite a while. I'm very proud of this class and our staff for making this whole thing come together. Our future in Calihan Hall keeps getting brighter and you're not going to want to miss it."
