INDIANAPOLIS (9-10-26) – The Horizon League office announced the Detroit Mercy women's basketball 2026-27 conference schedule, which begins with a pair of road games at Wright State (12/3) and Northern Kentucky (12/6). The Titans welcome Robert Morris (12/31) in home-opening action, followed by IU Indy (1/3) as part of a doubleheader with the men's team, and concluding with Milwaukee (1/7) to ring in the 2027 New Year. The Titans host arch-rival Oakland in Metro Series action (1/16).
The 2026-27 season marks the fourth year of the League's modernized scheduling approach, offering the competitive equity of a non-travel partner schedule with the sustainability benefits of a travel-partner schedule, but the first with a 12-team composition.
Before the Metro Series battle with the Golden Grizzlies, UDM plays at Cleveland State (1/10) followed by a showdown at defending 2025-26 HL regular-season and tournament champion Green Bay (1/13).
Detroit Mercy opens a three-game road swing beginning with a rematch at RMU (1/21), followed by 2025-26 HL runner-up Youngstown State (1/23), and concluding at Purdue Fort Wayne (1/27).
UDM returns to Calihan Hall against NKU (1/30), which is a doubleheader with the men's team, to close out the month of January before traveling to returning league member Northern Illinois (2/3) to kick off the month of February.
The Red, White, and Blue host Green Bay (2/6) and WSU (2/10) for a pair of rematches followed by a road game at IU Indy (2/13).
Detroit Mercy then opens their final three-game home stand against NIU (2/17), followed by CSU (2/20), and ending with PFW (2/25).
The Titans conclude #HLWBB regular season play with the Metro Series rematch at Oakland (2/27).
The 2026-27 #HLWBB Championship begins with first-round action (3/3) on campus sites. The second round (3/7), semifinals (3/8), and championship game (3/9) will be played at a new venue, Riverview Health Arena at Innovation Mile, in Noblesville, Ind.
