The Titans will play five home games in 2024.
DETROIT (12/22/2023) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team will face some tough competition in the non-conference as it gets ready for league play as the Titans announced their 2024 schedule on Friday.

In all, Detroit Mercy will start the year with four straight road games and play five total home games.

The season will start at Jesuit-rival Marquette on Feb. 13. After two weeks off, UDM will head to Ohio and Liberty Olentangy High School for a neutral site match-up with VMI on Mar. 2.

Three days later, the Titans will face Rutgers for the first time in program history, the alma mater of head coach Chris Kolon '09 (MBA), before the red, white and blue finish up non-conference play at Ohio State on Mar. 12.

The Atlantic Sun slate will begin at home against Mercer on Mar. 16, but the Titans will hit the road after that, traveling to Robert Morris (Mar. 20) and defending conference champions Utah (Mar. 23).

The month of March will end with Queens making its first-ever trip to the Motor City on the 30th.

April will see the squad hit the road for Lindenwood (Apr. 6) before a two-game homestand with a pair of teams at the top of the ASUN standings a year ago in Jacksonville (Apr. 10) and Air Force (Apr. 13).

UDM heads to Bellarmine on April 20 and will close out the regular season at home with Cleveland State on April 27.

The Atlantic Sun Tournament will again see the top six teams in the league qualify and will be held at Air Force From April 30-May 5.

Detroit Mercy returns 30 letterwinners from a year ago, including four of its top five scorers.
