Box Score HIGH POINT, N.C. (2/11/2023) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team got into an early hole and could not find itself out as the Titans fell, 17-2, at High Point on Saturday.

Tyler Hart started and made four saves, while sophomore
Jakob Hemme came off the bench in the second half and finished with 13.

Sean Henige had two caused turnovers and a team-high four ground balls. Redshirt freshman

Noah Martin posted a pair of takeaways.
The Titans (0-2) saw High Point (1-1) score the first five when Mahabir got the team on the board with under four minutes left in the first. The Panthers would take an 11- lead at the break and led 15-1 in the fourth when Majick scored his first of the season.

Logan Flaherty won three faceoffs and sophomore
Billy Hart claimed four. Freshman

Joey Schmaltz each had a caused turnover, the first collegiate one for Schmaltz, and senior

The Titans will have a few weeks off as the red, white and blue host Marquette on March 4.
