AKRON, OH. (2/5/23) -- The University of Detroit Mercy completed their weekend competition at the 2023 Akron Invitational on Saturday afternoon as Dante Bassham and Elijah Major claimed another top finish in the 200-Meter and the relay teams earned first and third. 

Bassham secured gold in the 200-Meter at 21.70 while Major earned silver at 21.76 seconds. 

Davis Hellonen tallied a personal record in the 200-Meter at 22.38 seconds. 

The 4x400 relay team of Luke Adamczyk, Antonio Talley, Payton Norkey, and Davis Hellonen scored gold while the 'B' team of Carvin Coleman, Joshua Otten, Elijah Major, and Dante Bassham finished third.
