Antoine Davis was tabbed a top 10 candidate for the 2023 Bob Cousy Award.
Named after Class of 1971 Hall of Famer and former Boston Celtic and Holy Cross guard Bob Cousy, the annual honor, now in its 20th year, recognizes the top point guard in Division I men's college basketball.
Davis was recently named to the Late Season Top 25 Watch List for the Wooden Award for the nation's Most Outstanding Player, the only mid-major player on the list, and the Top 50 Watch List for the USBWA's Oscar Robertson Trophy for the National Player of the Year and is also a candidate for the Naismith Trophy National Player of the Year and the Lou Henson Award for the top mid-major player.
He currently leads the nation in scoring (26.6 ppg.), total points (665), total 3-pointers (114), 3-pointers per game (4.56) and total field goals (221) and ranks 11th in the Horizon League with 3.5 assists per game.
Davis already owns four NCAA records in total 3-pointers (543), 3-pointers by a freshman (132), consecutive games in double figures (136), as well as most total games in double figures (136). He is second all-time in NCAA history with 3,399 points, 268 behind Pete Maravich's NCAA record 3,667.

In March, five finalists will be presented to Cousy and the Hall of Fame's selection committee. The Selection Committee for the Bob Cousy Award is composed of top men's college basketball personnel, including media members, head coaches, sports information directors and Hall of Famers.
The winner of the 2023 Bob Cousy Award will be presented on a to be determined date, along with the other four members of the Men's Starting Five. Additional awards being presented include the Jerry West Award (Shooting Guard), Julius Erving Award (Small Forward), Karl Malone (Power Forward) and the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award (Center), in addition to the Women's Starting Five.
