Antoine Davis finds himself on another national watch list as one of the top 30 candidates for the Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Men's Player of the Year honor.
Davis has already been named a finalist For Bob Cousy Award for the nation's top point guard, the Late Season Top 25 Watch List for the Wooden Award for the nation's Most Outstanding Player, the only mid-major player on the list, and the Top 50 Watch List for the USBWA's Oscar Robertson Trophy for the National Player of the Year.
Davis leads the nation in scoring (26.6 ppg.), total points (665), total 3-pointers (114), 3-pointers per game (4.56) and total field goals (221) and ranks 11th in the Horizon League with 3.5 assists per game.
He has a Horizon League-best 20, 20-point games, eight 30-point outings and two 40-point outbursts on the season. His 42 points against Robert Morris is tied for the 11th highest in the nation this year, and the 11, 3-pointers he hit in the game are tied for the most in Division I.
Davis already owns four NCAA records in total 3-pointers (543), 3-pointers by a freshman (132), consecutive games in double figures (136), as well as most total games in double figures (136). He is second all-time in NCAA history with 3,399 points, 268 behind Pete Maravich's NCAA record 3,667.
