CINCINNATI, OH. (4/1/23) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team began the outdoor season with a visit to Cincinnati, Ohio for the 2023 Oliver Nikoloff Invitational Saturday, April 1 from Gettler Stadium.
Top Titan Finishes
Elijah Major picked up a pair of top-five finishes on Saturday, scoring silver in the 200-Meter at 22.07 seconds and third in the 100-Meter with a 10.53 second time.
Payton Norkey, like Major, tallied a couple top-five finishes in the hurdles; finishing second in the 110-Hurdles and fifth in the 400-Hurdles.
In the jumps,
Daniel Lanfear cleared 2.0 meters for second in the High Jump while
Zachary Zaborney leaped to a 13.18 meter Triple Jump which was good for third.
