KANSAS CITY (7/20/2023) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team saw three student-athletes honored for their academic success as the National Association of Basketball Coaches released its Honors Court on Thursday.
Graduate seniors
Antoine Davis,
Buay Koka and
TJ Moss were the trio lauded for posting a 3.0 cume GPA for the 2022-23 season.
Davis registered a 3.88 in his Information Assurance graduate classes after recording a 3.35 as an undergraduate in Communications. Koka tallied a 3.45 in Health Service Administration, while Moss had a 3.28 in Business Turnaround Management.Â
It was the first time the Titans had student-athletes recognized on the Honors Court since 2013.Â
The NABC Honors Court, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2022-23 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The NABC's academic awards include honorees from all levels of college basketball.

"The hundreds of teams and thousands of players that qualified for NABC academic awards this season are a testament to our sport's ongoing prioritization of success in the classroom."
