DETROIT (10/2/2025) -- The University of Detroit Mercy Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is hosting a fundraiser next week at Chipotle in Ferndale.

Please visit the Chipotle located at 23123 Woodward Avenue in Ferndale on Thursday, Oct. 9, and mention Detroit Mercy SAAC to have 25% of your order donated back to the organization. 

SAAC seeks to bring student-athletes together to offer insight, make improvements, and set goals while enrolled at the University of Detroit Mercy. The main focus for discussion consists of 5 areas or pillars of student-athlete life. They include Academic Excellence, Athletic Success, Servant Leadership, Culture and Well-Being.  

All the money raised will be used in community service initiatives.
