DETROIT (9-17-23) - The Detroit Mercy women's soccer team saw its three-game win streak come to an end with a 2-0 setback at the hands of defending #HLWSOC champion Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon at Engelmann Stadium.
Senior 
Jazmine Scott matched a season-high making seven saves while facing 19 total shots. 
Sophomore 
Megan Malek, senior 
Gabby Ketola and Junior 
Adriana Mroz each had a shot on goal while senior 
Karsen Murray and sophomore 
Abbey Lodato had two total shots each.
Both teams played even for the first 30 minutes of the game until Milwaukee (5-2-2, 2-0 HL) broke through with a tally in the 31st minute to move ahead 1-0.
Detroit Mercy (3-4-3, 1-1 HL) battled for the majority of the second half but could not get the equalizer. The Panthers then added an insurance goal in the 85th minute to secure their second league win.
