Adriana Mroz scored her first career goal off an assist from senior
Paige Myers as Detroit Mercy concluded their #HLWSOC two-game road swing with a 3-1 setback at IUPUI on Thursday night at Michael A. Carroll Stadium.

Jazmine Scott made four saves. Detroit Mercy (3-5-3, 1-2 HL) outshot IUPUI (7-2-2, 1-0-2 HL) 17-12 putting eight shots on goal but couldn't convert on any second-half chances after Mroz's second-half goal. '
The Jaguars got on the board first connecting on a penalty kick just five minutes into the game.
Just two minutes later, IUIPUI added another goal to move ahead 2-0.
In the 55th minute of the second half, UDM finally broke through as Myers sent in a long feed into the box. Mroz broke in behind the defense, let the ball bounce, and then fired a rocket volley into the left upper 90 pulling the Titans within a goal at 2-1.
UDM had two more shots with one on goal but couldn't connect for the equalizer.
The Jags then sealed the deal with an insurance goal in the 66th minute to move back ahead by two tallies at 3-1.
Detroit Mercy returns to Titan Field with a #HLWSOC match against Green Bay on Sunday, Sept. 24 at 1 p.m.
