
DETROIT (9-8-23) – The Detroit Mercy women's basketball team has added transfer Annika Corcoran to officially finalize the 2023-24 season announced Head Coach
Kate Achter. Prior to spending the last two seasons at Akron, Corcoran played two seasons for the Titans during her freshman and sophomore campaign where she started in 27 games and was a two-time Athletic Director's Honor Roll selection.

Akron (2021-22):
• Started in 26 of 27 games played helping the Zips to a third place in the Mid-American Conference
• Ranked third on the team in assists (49) and fourth in 3-pointers (64) while averaging 4.1 points per game
Detroit Mercy (2020-21):
• Missed the beginning of the season due to injury, playing in five of the final six games for the Titans.
• Averaged 3.0 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 16.2 minutes per game.
• Totaled season-highs with nine points, five rebounds and four assists at Green Bay (1/9) in a season-best 33 minutes, hitting 3-of-6 shots from beyond the arc.
Detroit Mercy (2019-20):
• Received team's Coaches Award following the season.
• Started all 27 games that she played in during her freshman campaign.
• Led the team in assists (61) and assists per game (2.3), ranking 14th in the Horizon League in the category and 12th during league play, averaging 2.6 assists per contest.
• Averaged 6.1 points, 1.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.7 steals in 25.5 minutes per game, scoring in double figures five times.
• Ranked second on the team in 3-point field goals (31), leading the squad in 3-point field goal percentage (34.4).
• Was 20th in the Horizon League in 3-pointers made per game (1.1) and 16th during league play (1.3 triples made per game).
• Dished out multiple assists in 16 contests, including five or more in five games.
• Ranked fourth on the team in steals with 19 and was second on the team in minutes played per game (25.5).
• Made collegiate debut, starting season opener against Loyola (11/5) and dishing out five assists.
• Sank 9-of-14 free throws, scoring nine points in second collegiate game at nationally-ranked Michigan State (11/8).
• First double figure scoring effort came against Akron (11/23), scoring 11 points.
• Scored a season-high 16 points against Eastern Michigan (12/21), hitting three 3-pointers and 7-of-10 free throws.
